Personalize Your Bank Checks With Harley Davidson

By Alan Plastin, April 26, 2010 8:14 am

If you ordered personalized checks from your bank in the past, they were usually expensive and not worth the money. Luckily, today you are able to order checks from the Internet at a fraction of the price that it used to cost you.

The good thing about ordering checks online is that there are hundreds of images available to choose from. One of the most popular images is Harley Davidson.

There are fewer things considered more “American” than Harley Davidson motorcycles. They are credited with inventing the American choppers. They began in Milwaukee in 1906 when William Harley, Arthur Davidson, and Arthur’s brothers opened the first factory. Today, the company’s headquarters are still located at the site of the original factory.

Harleys are potent motorcycles that are built for cruising the highway. Not only stylish with their abundance of chrome, but they also come with over 750 cc engines. You can also get your Harley customized, which is wildly popular.

Over the years, Harleys were used by Pancho Villa in the border skirmishes, World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. The bikes were also one of only two motorcycle companies that survived the Depression.

Originally intended to be a racing bike, the Sportster is the longest running model in the Harley Davidson family. It is also a little lighter than some of the other models.

Over time, of course, other motorcycle companies have become popular. Harleys are still considered classics, however, and are ridden the world over. These choppers also boasts some pretty hard-core fans that even attend yearly reunions with other owners.

In fact, Harley Davidson has so many fans that their merchandise alone accounts for 5% of their annual sales. If you, yourself, are a fan, they you want to consider carrying the Harley logo-inspired checks.

There are several different designs to be found on Harley checks. Some of the most popular feature current models.

You can also find “Ride Hard, Live Free” checks that showcase artwork by artists Larry K. Martin and Marc Lacourciere. Stylish as they are, they are meant to show the freedom of the open road.

Another good thing about the “Ride Hard, Live Free’ checks is that they have not only images of the motorcycle, but also of the American flag and bald eagle. These are very patriotic-inspired checks, as Harley is considered an American classic. If you want to show off your patriotism as well then these might be something you would like to carry.

If you choose to order checks online, you can generally find matching checkbook covers and address labels to match your checks.

Duplicate checks with the Harley logo on them can also be found online. These checks are great because they keep a carbon copy of your check as you write them out. That can be helpful when you are balancing your checkbook.

If you order online you can generally save money ordering this way and the turnaround is about 2-3 days, which is pretty much the same amount of time that it would take you to get them from your bank.

Before you order Harley checks, go to HarleyChecks.net to get coupons and to save up to 50% off your next purchase of Harley Davidson checks.

By Alan Plastin, February 28, 2010 10:48 am

Are you a NASCAR fan? If so, and you want to let everyone know, then there is no better way than showing your allegiance than by using NASCAR personal checks. In the end, your finances might cause you anxiety, but there’s no reason that they have to be uninteresting.

More formally known as the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, NASCAR is only beat by professional football when it comes to getting more viewers. The loyal NASCAR fans will go hundreds of miles to see a race. Sometimes, a race can have as many as 100,000 people in attendance.

Many NASCAR drivers are as famous as other sports heroes. Dale Earnhardt, for example, is now an honored sports idol, more than ever since he met his unfortunate demise on the racetrack. Richard Petty and Kyle Petty, Carl Edwards, and Jeff Gordon are household names as well.

Stock car racing got its start during Prohibition when drivers would bootleg alcohol. The drivers would restructure their cars to make them faster so that they could better outrun the police when they were being chased.

Today, the racing is done on racetracks. Some of the most famous NASCAR tracks are located in Bristol, Daytona Beach, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Talledega.

Other kinds of pop-culture have based their things on NASCAR as well. “Cars”, a very popular Disney film was based on the sport. Another film centered around NASCAR is the funny movie “Talladega Nights” with Will Ferrell. Cledus T. Judd, country music comedian and singer, recorded a satire of Toby’s Keith “I Love This Bar” and changed the words to “I Love NASCAR.”

If you want to get checks, there are several designs to choose from. The “NASCAR Collections” series has four check images. A day at the races in Darlington, Daytona, Talladega, and Watkins Glen can be experienced when you look at these checks. A coordinating checkbook cover, address labels, and contact cards can be bought with these as well.

If you’re an Earnhardt fan, then you can also buy limited Dale Earnhardt Sr. checks. These include an image of the celebrated driver in the middle of the checks themselves. Dale Earnhardt Jr. also has his own checks, too.

The NASCAR Racetracks check series show images of some of the sport’s most famous racetracks including Daytona, Talladega, California Speedway and Michigan International.

You can purchase matching coordinates for most the check series.

By getting your checks from a safe website you can save up to 50% off of what your bank might have charged you. Plus, you will have a larger variety to pick from as well. It can be exasperating to go to your bank, only to find out that they don’t have much of a choice and that it will take weeks to even get them. By getting your checks online, however, they’ll get to you in about 5 days or so.

By Alan Plastin, February 8, 2010 9:25 am

Showing your personality and style can be easy these days, even when it comes to something simple like your personal bank checks. You will find hundreds of themes to choose from if you take a look at any website that sells checks. Your individuality can be showcased with images from everything from holidays to popular entertainers. You can even find checks with iron horses if you’re a motorcycle fan.

Motorcycles can present an affordable fuel-efficient alternative to other modes of transport. For a single person driving at a steady pace, motorcycles are capable of getting higher MPGs than some cars. Motorcycles have become the number one mode of transport in some countries like Vietnam. They can also be more economical, like in London where motorcycles are not charged the city congestion fee.

Motorcycles mean different things to different people and these interests can be showcased on your motorcycle personal checks. These days, you don’t just have to ride a Harley to be a motorcycle buff.

Still, if you are a Harley rider, there are ample images available for your motorcycle personal checks. From the time when Harley-Davidson was created in 1903 Milwaukee, the brand has inspired a fan base like no other. Five percent of their annual sales alone come from merchandise. Some companies offer checks with designs that represent not only police officers’ service to their community, but also feature the motorcycles they ride on while doing so.

Americans’ love of freedom can be symbolized by images of classic motorcycles, like the Indian. The open road is often connected to motorcycles and nothing says freedom like flying down the highway with the wind in your face. Patriotic themed checks frequently have images of the bald eagle, American flag, and classic motorcycles.

Speed and adventure are themes that are usually associated with motorcycle riding, nonetheless. Street bikes can be ridden at track races for exciting and extreme competitions. Dirt bikes and drag racing is featured as images on some motorcycle checks. For those that go to the races, it’s not just entertainment, but an entire way of life.

If you want to show off your passion for motorcycles, using their image on your personal checks can be a great way to go. It can also be a good idea if you own a motorcycle business and want to employ them as marketing tools. Checks that are otherwise plain can be made impressive with a memorable image.

If you want to save money on your motorcycle personal checks, try ordering them online. There are many websites available that let you order them for 50% cheaper than you can get them at your local bank. You can also get duplicate checks and checkbook covers that match your checks.

Checking Your Hire Van Over Thoroughly First

By -, June 28, 2009 7:06 pm

A greater number of vans are being leased in the commercial and private sectors currently than ever before. During this current economic climate there are less people buying vans outright and more using third party companies to lease from. Unfortunatetly, with the growing popularity, so there has been an increase in leasing companies charging customers for damage to the vans that already existed. The way round this of course is checking the vehicle thoroughly before hiring it, but what are the most important things to check?

Body work. Have a good look around the body work both inside and out before van leasing. Holes, paint damage and excessive rusting are among the damages to keep an eye out for. Really anything that you can be accused of causing down the line. Anything that you come across should be noted down an photographed from all angles.

Suspension. You really do not want to be driving a van away that has faulty suspension give it a good testing before you do. Pull down on each rear corner of the van in tern to engage the suspension. The rocking should cause the van to move around smoothly but without excessive noise. If there is too much or too little travel in the suspension, or if it makes an unnerving noise, insist that its inspected properly before you drive it. You should also do the same for the front suspension and test it extensively if you are Citroen van leasing as these vans often use hydraulic suspension which is even more expensive to put right

Engine. Its not that easy to know what to look out for with engines if you haven’t tested one before. Getting the engine running for a start and get the revs high. Warning signs include lots of smoke, interrupted firing, loud noises or loss of power to name but a few.  If in any doubt take someone along who knows a bit or go for Ford van leasing as these vans are the most reliable.
