Here is a tricky one : why do some hate french cars ? Renault, Citroen, Peugeot make nice cars, great designs and most of them have good engines. Their only big problem is the auto parts costs, which is very high ( this is one of the reasons french don`t go do auto service too much, they prefer buying another car ), but else, the french models are quite nice.
One model that is indeed special is the new Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi – you can check out the looks of this car and I am sure I do not have to say anything about the engine. A small car with such a powerful engine is like a miniatural beast, you won`t even know when it bites you. Many have rated the engine of the Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi with a 7, on a scale from one to ten, but I would have went one grade higher, up to an eight.
Fuel consumption is not that great though, but you cannot make an agresive car with low fuel consumption, unless you`re japaneese. Here is where I would grade the car with a five. Now we`ll move on to the interior, which I would like to describe it in just one word : fantastic! Ten out of ten, if you`ll ask me and that is really great for a french car that uses a lot of plastic when designing the inside.
Quality price report is allright. Its not expensive for what it has to offer. The starting price for a Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi is 11.990 euro with VAT included, which is not that much comparable with, lets say, an Opel Meriva. The only serious competition regarding this report would be the Ford Fusion, but some would not choose the second one because of the dull design.
Now here is the question: Would you pick a used toyota cars for sale or a used ford cars for sale instead of a new french car, if the driving and confort options would be a bit better ?
Jaguar this month have released their brand new XJ model in London. The XJ is the replacement for the older XF model so just like the XF, the XJ is required to bring in a large number of sales.
When the previous XF model was released last year, the sales generated were used to help bring the company out of it’s financial troubles. The new XJ will hopefully do exactly the same.
It’s been announced that Tata, new owners of Jaguar and Land Rover, are losing £1 million every day on the companies.
Because Jaguar are trying to use this new car to save the business, they have modified the design slightly. Although a number of Jaguar owners have said how they don’t like the look of the new car, Jaguar are standing by their attempt at making the XJ more modern. They are doing this because they are trying to bring a wider and younger audience of car buyers.
They have improved the design of the car by making it more sleek and stylish. The new design of the car is “right and correct for the 21st Century” said the designer director, Ian Callum, who is now hoping that Jaguar will see a new modern car buyers who wouldn’t have considered buying a Jag in the past.
Jaguar have also fitted the car out with modern gadgets like a virtual dashboard. This will give you the ability to change the layout of the dashboard, you will even be able to put a sat nav on it. The car also comes with a large boot, a panoramic windscreen and finally, it’s all in a light weight aluminium shell.
This might sound like your sort of motor, however, it comes as a high price. The car price ranges from £50,000 for the standard model and going all the way up to £90,000 for the most luxury model.
I don’t think this would really be an ideal car for driving lessons. Maybe if you went with an experienced Worthing driving instructor, it might be more successful.
I have the sudden urge to get all existential…so I will.
There are certain things that will never change on this spinning rock, regardless of time or tide. British summer-times will always be grey affairs permeated occasionally by a pathetic ray of sun, Pease Porridge is a dish that will never be eaten by anyone south of Carlisle and Bob Geldof will always be a self-righteous crab with more in common, genetically, with a mouldy dish rag than a human being. Amongst all this irretrievably crushing monotony there is one constant that refuses to disappoint and continues to delight; the simple pleasure of driving a Used Ford car.
Ford have always been inherently capable of producing cars that exceed expectation in almost every important category it is possible to evaluate a car by. The engines are always high performing, but economical and ecological. The handling is always superbly pin-point precise and the envy of many ‘higher-brand’ manufacturers. The very experience of being sat in a Ford is a pleasant one, combining comfort and practicality almost effortlessly.
Sadly though, some greedy merchant bankers went a bit OTT recently and now the country is ruined financially. It would be perfectly accurate to say that a Tramp’s soiled hankie is probably worth more than your house right now, so it would also be a superbly accurate assumption that you’re not exactly going to be ‘flash for cash’. Therefore it is face-smashing-into-a-brick-wall annoyance when your old motor breaks down for the last time and you realise you need a new one. What are you going to buy a new car with? Magic beans? Pleasant thoughts? Mother-in-law’s homemade crumble??? Not very likely. You need a cheap car that is also reliable, stylish, well-performing and has room for the entire family. What a surprise! You’ve found yourself at a used Ford Dealership!
The Ford range has does a pretty good job at catering for all tastes, styles and persuasions of human-life. Are you single? Looking for a nippy little number, with a growly engine, neat looks and cool-points to boot? Look out for a used Ford Fiesta 2.0 ST 3dr Hatchback. Are you married, with two kids and an unquenchable passion for golf? Why not keep your eyes peeled for a Used Ford 2.5 ST 5dr supermini. Are you an executive, with lots of travelling to do, great impressions to make and need reliability and great performance? What you need is a Used Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Ghia. There is virtually no lifestyle or situation that cannot be perfectly catered for by one of the Ford family. You would be hard pushed to find better quality for your hard-earned cash as well.
Ford are also in possession of an enviable reputation in terms of reliability and very low cost repair and maintenance. In the current dire economic climate it is extremely important to be sure that your investment is not going to let you down as soon as your drive off the forecourt. Ford arguably offers a better guarantee with their reputation than virtually any other car manufacturer and that kind of peace of mind is very hard to come by these days.
The rest of the world knows this line of automobiles from the Ford Motor Company as the Ford Econoline Van or the Ford E series. However, if you travel to the Philippines, you would then know that in this region and area, the Ford Econoline Lorry is marketed and called the Ford Castle Van . Take a closer look though and you would notice the Ford Chateau Wagon is simply a similar automobile but has its differences with the Ford Econoline Van.
1961 was the year that the production of the Ford Econoline Wagon started. It was made to be a full-size lorry and it was mounted and made using the FR VN platform. Competition for this van includes the Chevrolet Express, the GMC Savana, the Dodge Runner , the Mercedes Benz Runner , and the Freightliner Runner . This line of full-size wagons were made for both load and passenger transportation. Looking at Ford’s line up for autos, the Ford Econoline Lorry and the entire Ford E series is very much related to the firm’s F series which is a line of pick up vans.
The Ford Econoline Lorry is already on its 4th generation of versions for this vehicle. The 1st generation was legendary for it turned into a success for utility companies that included the Bell Phone System. It was then a load truck and could take in 8 passengers inside. As specified in the second generation of Ford Econoline Vans, the engine was now moved from the rear up to the front. In 1975, the third generation came about. It held more ergonomic controls as well as a full frame design. Come 1983, the logo of Ford that was a blue oval was now integrated into the front grille of the wagon. The 4th generation came in 1992 and this was a reworked version. This time around, the Ford Econoline Wagon came with a vast choice of engines for patrons’ diverse preferences and needs.
